Neon

This was meant to be HUGE this summer... I mean HUGE. Every fashion magazine in the country was pushing it. It littered the catwalks.. And some celebs even dived on the band wagon. The high street shops jumped on and soon every window display looked like  the Flash Dance costume cupboard.

But as I walked the streets of my home town nobody was actually wearing it... Why? The Great British Summer Time. No one wants to be soggy in neon therefore  neon was the biggest fashion flop of the summer. My neon wedges are still new and their matching top still in the wardrobe. For any of you who also felt the desire to buy neon in a desperate attempt to salvage this soppy summer I hope to help you salvage this neon disaster...

The Neon Satchel...

These were like the preppy neon item, but they can still brighten a winter outfit its all about matching your accessories... A dark coat with a bright hat an bag can be a constant go to staple. Just remember too much neon makes you look like you fell out of a rave. Unless you are actually in a rave stick to 2-3 neon pieces.

Fearn even has an umbrella as a nod to the dreary English weather.

Work Out In Neon..

One place neon never fails is the gym. The bright vibrant colors look amazing in work out classes and on machines. Its 80s fabulous!!! However not very slimming so if you prefer to wear darker work out clothes just add accessories such as neon pumps or head bands.
